Leasing matters range from simple apartment leases to complex commercial properties. Our representation does not end with the execution of leases. We continue to assist our clients with administration of the lease, including landlord-tenant matters.
The Firm always assists with tax planning for our clients. When appropriate we will gladly coordinate services with a client’s financial planning advisors. The Firm’s representation in the purchase and sale of real property includes IRC §1031 qualified exchanges, as well as the transfer of life estates as part of our clients’ tax planning to defer or eliminate capital gains taxes on the sale of real property.
Refinancing mortgages, second mortgages, and restructuring of mortgage debt are services that are also regularly provided to clients.
